Welcome to Centreboard Kft.: the specialist in centreboard yachts. Owner Jan van der Weide is an experienced yacht builder. Maintaining the ongoing building of motor yachts at his yard, Jan has devoted himself to a new challenge: giving new splendour to his old love of building sailing yachts.
Together with naval architect Dick Koopmans Jr, Jan designed a yacht for the adventurist. A yacht for those who want to sail across the world, taking their whole family, or just want to take a trip across the Frisian lakes or Wadden Sea. The Centreboard 40’ is unique: a yacht that makes it easy to beach during low tide, yet easily sails across any ocean. The yacht can be controlled with one hand. It offers lot of space and comfort, both on deck and below decks.
Shallow water or ocean, the CB 40’ feels at home everywhere.
